I had intentions of creating "Mind the Gap" before jumping the pond, but my mother has a name for me (beginning with Pro- and ending in -crastinator) which I can't help but live up to- sorry mom, I'm working on it! As could be imagined, settling in to a new school, in a different environment let alone a new country took up some time; but after 3 weeks here is my blog. Hopefully, knowing that there really are people out there reading my posts will actually spur me to keep a journal. It's nearly dinner time and I've got a Jacket Potato (baked potato) in the oven waiting for me. I promise stories and photos of my adventures in the first 3 weeks will be coming shortly.
